Cold Front Diesel is a Veteran owned business that was established in 2015. As the common trend of most shops, it started as 2 “friends” David and Caden who met working at a CAT dealership after they got out of college. They worked there on trucks and equipment, then on the weekends would work on diesel pick-ups on the side as a way to fuel their passion and make some extra money. Only in this scenario, they didn’t start off in a driveway or someone’s garage. Instead, were lucky enough to mooch some bay space in David’s Fathers shop, Schaefer’s Auto Repair Inc. A fully operational shop with all of the tools and equipment you could imagine. Talk about your “Started from the bottom” business story. Although Dave Sr. is not the most fond of “them stinky greasles” but he is slowly coming around.
